This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) relates to processing of personal data by TaiFin Glass Machinery (“TaiFin” or “We”) as data controller. This Notice describes how we process the personal data concerning our customers, potential customers or business partners or any other contacts (“You”) once they have consented receiving our newsletter or any other marketing information while using our websites, by e-mail or social media services (“Online Services”). The Notice describes also how we process the personal data concerning our employees (“You” or “Employee”) or employee candidates (“You” or “Candidate”) who apply for an employment at TaiFin.

For the invoicing and marketing purposes as well as employment relationship and recruitment purposes, we process the following categories of personal data:
• name
• contact information (address, email, telephone number)
• information relating to managing a customer relationship
• information relating to managing a relationship with our personnel or potential employees
• permissions, consents and prohibitions regarding direct marketing
You can access our website without entering any personal information. However, certain parts of our website may require us to collect personal information for the services to function properly.

4. The purposes of the processing of personal data and the legal basis for the processing

Taifin processes personal data to manage the customer relations, perform invoicing and to manage the relations with TaiFin’s personnel. Furthermore, to process applications and complete the recruitment, it is necessary to process the candidates’ personal data.

We process your personal data on the basis on the contract with you or since you have given your consent. We process personal data on the basis of your consent when you consent to receiving electronic direct marketing from us or when you consent to the use of cookies and other tracking technologies. The relationship also begins once you have entered into contract with us whenever you send and application in our recruitment services.
Part of our processing is necessary for the purposes of developing our webpage services.

5. Sources of personal data

Personal data is collected from you, among other ways from emails, phone calls, social media services, contracts, customer meetings, and other situations where you consent to submitting the information.

6. Disclosures of personal data

TaiFin will not share, sell or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third parties for e.g. marketing purposes.

The personal data outside the EU or the European Economic Area:
Taifin Glass Machinery Oy uses the US MailChimp email platform for news release, where the contact information of Taifin Glass Machinery Oy´s marketing register is maintained. Therefore, personal data will be transferred outside the European Union. However, personal data are protected under the Personal Data Act.

7. Personal data retention

Personal data relating to candidates are not retained for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed or as required by law.
If you have given your consent to electronic marketing, we will process your personal data and send you marketing until you withdraw your consent.

TaiFin employees, who are committed to confidentiality, may process personal data in accordance with EU data protection legislation. The data controller ensures that only the persons authorized to process personal data will have access to personal data relating to you.

TaiFin ensures that all personal data, relating to you, is been carefully handled and data processed by the information systems is adequately protected. When storing data records on Internet servers, the physical and digital security of their hardware is handled appropriately. We commit to guarantee that the stored data, server access rights and other personal information are handled confidentially.

A cookie is a small text file, which your browser saves to the computer / device while you are browsing the sites. The cookies contain information that allows identifying the device you are using. The site will be using the data when the user is browsing sites or when returning there next time.

We save following data:
IP-data, browser type, operating system, arrival- and exit pages, service provider, the date and time. The user cannot be recognized due to cookie data, if the person self don´t give the information, for example by writing his/her name, email, home- or work address or telephone number. The site is not able to conclude, for example, the user's email address if it is not given by the user. The site has no access to any other data to the user's computer.
